To join, the applicant must be a male amateur golfer, aged fifty years or older and a member of a private or semi-private golf club located within the SCCS geographical area of operations (from Hilton Head, SC to the city of Mt. Pleasant, SC and west to the city of Orangeburg, SC) that is approved and designated by the SCCS Board of Directors. The applicant must also have an established handicap at his home course using the SCGA/USGA handicap system.
If you are interested in joining us, please download and print the membership application using the link above. Mail the original and one copy of the application to the address listed on the form and send Attn: Membership Director. Do not send any money with your application.
Your application will be acknowledged, and you will be placed on the APPLICATION PRIORITY LIST (APL) in the order in which the applications are received. When a vacancy occurs and your application has been approved by the SCCS Board of Directors, you will be invited to join the SCCS. There is a short waiting time until a vacancy occurs. In the mean time, if any information contained in your application changes, please advise the Membership Director, Mark Shanley in writing at:
